The PQM program’s experience working with medicines quality control laboratories in Kazakhstan to build capacity for testing the quality of TB medicines has been included in the newly-published Compendium of Good Practices in the Implementation of the Tuberculosis Action Plan for the WHO European Region 2016–2020. Good practices in the compendium are examples of effective and efficient interventions in line with the three pillars of the World Health Organization’s End TB Strategy: integrated, people-centered care and prevention; bold policies and supportive systems; and intensified research and innovation.
